In 2010, OA Masters will be attending 2 pool meets and one open water meet as a team.
These meets are:
1) April 16-18 Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championships, Pleasanton
2) October 8-10 Pacific Masters Swimming Short Course Meters Championships, Walnut Creek
3) Open Water Swim TBD “Open water” (lake or ocean) competitions occur during the summer months.
In addition, we recommend attending the March 28 SCAM (Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Masters) Spring Meet at Speiker Pool @ Cal as a great warm up meet.
Each year, at different venues around the country, U. S. Masters Swimming sponsors a short course (25 yd. pool) National Championships in May and a long course (50 meter pool) National Championships in August. Please note that competitions are always encouraged, but remain optional.
