Scott has been coaching Orinda Aquatics Masters since 2007. In addition to coaching with Orinda Aquatics, he also coaches at Orinda Country Club during the summer and fall programs. He is in charge of the 13 and older program for the Sharks.
Scott is a long time local area coach and brings a wealth of experience to our program. Scott coaching is marked by strong discipline and motivation and as a result he has enjoyed success at the high school, USA swimming and summer recreation levels. In 1995 Scott’s Las Lomas High School boys swim team captured the North Coast Section Championship.
When not at the pool, he runs the Physical Education Department at Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville, where he is also a Field Supervisor for St. Mary’s College School of Education credential program. Scott graduated from Cal State Hayward with a B.S. in General Science – Biology emphasis. He and his wife Susie have three wonderful kids, Cait 9, Emma 7, and Jon 4.
Scott coaches the Mo/We/Fr 6-7AM workouts. We are delighted to have such an experienced and talented coach as part of our Masters staff.
