Katie began coaching for the Orinda Aquatics Masters in the summer of 2011. Katie came to the Bay Area from Palm Harbor, FL to swim for the California Golden Bears in 2009. In her collegiate career as an Arkansas Razorback and Cal Golden Bear, Katie was a 6 time honorable mention
All-American, school record holder, two-time Olympic Trial qualifier member of the SEC and Pac-10 academic honor rolls, member of the SEC All-Freshmen team, and most recently, a member of the 2011 National Championship team.
Katie graduated from Cal-Berkeley with a degree in history and plans to attend law school. Katie coaches the Tu/Th 6-7AM and Sat 7-8AM workouts.
Our swimmers love her workouts because she is not only a great swimmer herself but a great teacher of the sport. We are delighted to have such a talented swimmer and coach as part of our Masters staff.
